We are looking for volunteers for VBS. VBS dates would be July 1st - 5th. If you are willing to volunteer, please contact Barb Rose - 902-357-2652, before March 31st. If we don;t get volunteers by then, we will not be running VBS this summer. Please prayerfully consider this youth mission.

We are looking for Pillow Cases of any size for dresses to be made for Kids of Haiti. If you have any you would like to donate, please give to Sharon Ching and she will distribute to those making them.

South Lake Christian Church is asking everyone to read the Bible daily. Reading for March are: Leviticus 16, 19, 25-26; Numbers 9-36. We are being planted in God’s Word as we begin reading. What a joy it is to read His word and pray also.

GOSPEL MUSIC AFTERNOON - On Sunday, March 31st at 3:00 p.m. South Lake C.W.F. are having a Gospel Music afternoon at Maritime Christian College, Charlottetown to raise a freewill offering for MCC’s online courses which are coming in September 2019. Come and enjoy the musical guests who are singing and be willing to give a freewill offering to raise funds. There will also be a light lunch of sandwiches and sweets following and if you would help provide it we would be happy. If you are not able to go, it would be great to give some lunch and offering to one of us. There will be lots of singers from the Christian Churches. We ask you to pray for it also. Be happy to see you there.

PARKING LOT REPAIRS: The west side of the Kingsboro Church parking Lot adjacent to the Parsonage requires significant repairs. The Kingsboro Board of Management has proposed this be addressed through parking lot stabilization and resurfacing tentatively scheduled for spring/summer 2019. Quotes have been received and a fund will be established to receive contributions to defer some of the cost. Any assistance in the form of financial donations would be greatly appreciated.

ITEMS NEEDED: There is a need for personal hygiene products for Souris Regional School. if anyone would like to contribute items, please refer to the list located on the table in the foyer at Kingsboro Baptist Church. This will be an ongoing project so items can be brought in anytime. Thank you for your generosity. Items can be put in box in the foyer of Kingsboro Baptist Church. Contact Woneta Fraser or Bev. The Eastern Kings Senior’s Neighbors Club - “Stories of My Family: Family Tree Scrap-booking” will start on Monday, March 25th from 1:30-3:30. This will be held every Monday and Friday til April 12th all materials and supplies for this are free. We need at least 10 to run the course please call Anne Harris 357-2947 to register.

Have you ever considered being a Hospice Volunteer or felt that hospice training would be beneficial to you? Eastern Kings Hospice Inc. is offering a highly recommended training course free of charge beginning Saturday, March 16th and continuing for the next 3 Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Boardroom of the Souris Hospital. Topics such as compassionate communication, attitudes toward death, grief, as well as many other issues will be discusssed.
