ENCOUNTER KIDS PROGRAM for Kindergarten to Grade 6 during each Kingsboro morning service in the youth room. Includes Bible stories, crafts, singing, snack and games.
Also take note: A class for youth in Grade 7 and up will meet during the worship service in the Parlour. They’ll come to the sanctuary first and go out with Gerty partway through.

COMMUNITY DINNER - Tuesday, April 23rd, 4:30-6:30 at Kingsboro Baptist Church. We will have Beef Stroganoff over rice, Caeser Salad, with upside-down pineapple cake for dessert.

8:00 am Men’s Breakfast at Kingsboro Baptist Church. All men welcome.
12 noon - Ladies Group (MLWMS) will meet for lunch at the Fortune Diner.

at Kingsboro Baptist Church - Everyone is invited to stay for a Fellowship Coffee time following the morning service.

SUNDAY, MAY 5th
2:00 p.m. Hospice Memorial Service at Kingsboro Baptist Church.

The Eastern Kings Community Center in conjunction with the Eastern Kings Senior Neighbors will be hosting a meal for all seniors 65+ living in the Rural Municipality of Eastern Kings thanks to funding from the provincial Seniors Community Meal Grant Pilot Program.
The meal will be on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 12 pm at Eastern Kings Community Center. The lunch will include ham, scalloped potatoes, glazed carrots, roll, dessert, tea and coffee.
Guest speaker for the event is Hailey Zavo, the provincial Coordinator of Meals on Wheels, PEI. Hailey will be discussing the roll of Rural Routes Meals on Wheels. THe Monthly meeting of the Senior Neighbors CLub will follow the presentation and everyone is welcome to attend.
Pre-registration is required for the event by Friday, April 26th at noon. To register please call 357-2046 and leave a message or send us a message on Facebook to book your spot. Please include your name, number of people and if you will be attending in person or if you choose the takeout option. The takeout meal will be available for pick up at 1:30 that day.

On Thursday, May 15th there will be a FREE Volunteer Food Safety Presentation from 6-9 pm (will probably be shorter) at the Eastern Kings Community Center. This is offered by Environmental Health and you will receive a Certificate of Attendance. The presentation will be on proper food handling, preparation and service practices. I encourage anyone that volunteers with meals at the Community center to attend. If interested please let Danelle know at 902-357-2046 and she will forward the names to Environmental Health.

Hospital Visitation: If you are aware of someone from our church family who is in the hospital, please let Pastor Alec know. He relies on word of mouth to know if people are in the hospital in order to visit them, and may not otherwise know if someone is there.
