There is a NURSERY available during the church service for babies, toddlers and preschool children. Families are welcome to take their little ones to the nursery room at any time during the service.

The Cavendish Baptist Church Committee wants us to know that the historic Cavendish Baptist Church is open once again for the weeks of the summer until Sunday, Sept. 6th. All worship services are at 11:00 am. Please include the Cavendish team in your prayers as they seek to reach out to those visiting the North Shore area. The invitation is open for any of your congregation who may be vacationing nearby to come worship at Cavendish Baptist.

JANITOR POSITION: The Property Committee is seeking to fill the Janitor Position starting September 1, 2026. If you are interested in applying for the position or would like more information about the duties, hours or general information, please contact Owen Ching at o.bching@hotmail.com

CHILDREN’S CLOTHING GIVEAWAY
Nobody wants to think of back to school just yet but please mark your calendars for our annual Children’s clothing giveaway which will be held the morning of August 22nd. As you sort through your children’s clothes, please set aside things that others could use, which we will gladly accept. We will take items for all ages - infant to teen.
In order to make this event happen, we will also need volunteers to help with setup on Friday evening, August 21, and to pack up any leftovers starting at noon on the 22nd. Please let Jennifer know if you can help.
Donated items can be left in the church foyer starting Monday, August 17. Please ensure all items are clean and of a condition that they can be used by others.
Thanks in advance for your support of this important event. It is much appreciated by our community and is one of the ways that we show love to our neighbors through the church.

Hospital Visitation: If you are aware of someone from our church family who is in the hospital, please let Pastor Alex know. He relies on word of mouth to know if people are in the hospital in order to visit them, and may not otherwise know if someone is there.
